Plant Wildflowers with your Business Card!

If there are two things I personally love that bleed into this business, it's sustainable packaging and wildflowers. What if I found a way to mix the two?

I think I have! In an effort to reduce the amount of business cards that get disposed of in landfills after you open your eagerly anticipated wares, I had my business cards printed on a wildflower seed paper.

That means that instead of throwing away more packaging, you could grow a blossoming pot of wildflowers instead!

How to plant your wildflower paper

Plant it under a very thin dusting of soil. (Only 1/8 of an inch.)
Keep it moist during germination and ensure there is good drainage. Don't let the water pool.
Make sure it gets plenty of sunlight! Wildflowers love the sun.

What flower seeds are in the paper

I use Botanical Paperworks' classic wildflower seed paper blend, which includes:

Catchfly (Silene armeria)
Sweet Alyssum (Lobularia maritima)
Snapdragon (Linaria)
Bird's Eye (Gilia tricolor)
Black Eyed Susan (Rudbeckia hirta)
Clarkia (Clarkia unguiculata)
